Is it safe to extend my dog's Adequan injections twice weekly?

My dog is starting his 3rd week of Adequan injections SubQ. I know the cycle is usually 2 injections per week for the first 4 weeks, but what after that? I know usually it's 1 per month as a booster, but in severe cases CAN we extend the twice weekly injections or is that harmful? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 80 lbs

Overall Adequan is considered to be very safe and rarely causes any bad reaction, indeed in some dogs it is given every 2-3 weeks even after the initial 4 weeks treatment but never twice weekly long term.
