My senior cat's eye pupil is changing; another has a zit-like bump.

Hi I have 2 question about 2 cats they are both over 12 years old. The first one got a eye that the black is getting way bigger then the other one or really small. The other one got bump that looks like a zit been there for at least a month now. What I should do? Thank

Hello. In terms of your cats, the first one with the eye getting bigger than the other really needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. Glaucoma is a very serious condition and in order to not lose vision in the eye you want to treat it right away. This is also a very painful condition. The other cat, with a bump that looks like a zit, could just be a sebaceous cyst. It is always best to get it checked out, however if it isn't growing or changing, or causing your cat issues, you can monitor it for now and have it seen at your next appointment with your vet.
