Hi my baby girl Runt has had the disease where abcess form and such. She is going to make it though! Usually she takes her meds very nicely and licks the liquid right out of the syringe! However today she has a different attitude. She took the syringe right out of my hands and was very greedy about her food. I've never seen her eat so fast! She seemed to tug at her cage door more and has been 'standing' up more. I did let my cat in to get the flies but she didn't even go near Runt... please help

To be honest, Runt eating in large quantities is a great sign! If you are referring to the condition of pasturellosis, and Runt is behaving in the way you are describing, I think this is a great sign. Her energy level is obviously high and she is clearly having a great deal of spunk and fight to her. With that being said, she will still require her medications for the entire length of the therapy. You just may have to be a little more patient with her and make sure she isn't flinging her syringe away.
