Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 11 days old | 17 lbs

My dog began throwing up this morning. At first it was a light green solid but then it was a liquid of the same color. He has stopped now but is not wanting to eat or drink.

Hello The vomiting may have stopped due to Cooper having an empty stomach now and once he does eat/drink again the vomiting could recur. With green vomit I am concerned about toxin, particularly rat poison but that is not always the case. Depending on Cooper's attitude/activity level, if his vomiting recurs, he seems painful, weak, has a distended abdomen or it's possible he ate anything toxic he should be evaluated by a veterinarian. If you have a local veterinarian that knows Cooper giving them a call would be the next step as they can sometimes give more specific instructions as you have established a valid VCPR with them versus online consultations do not allow us to do so.
