Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 75 lbs
I live in Florida, and tonight i was reading on the H3N2 outbreak. I think my dog is showing symptoms. How urgent is it for him to see a vet? Do i need to rush to the nearest 24/7 hospital? or can I call a hospital tomorrow morning? He's finally sleeping, and I want to let him rest.

If Pilos is resting and not having labored breathing, he should be ok to wait until tomorrow for his vet visit. Call ahead, and when you arrive the staff may encourage you to wait in the car with him until the vet is ready to examine him, or they may bring you straight into an exam room to prevent spread of infection. Fingers crossed its just a mild respiratory infection, but I'm glad you're taking precautions.

Hello If your dog is resting comfortably, has no difficulties breathing (meaning normal rate/effort), does not have any increased respiratory sounds (like snoring, wheezes) you could continue to monitor him and take him to your veterinarian first thing. However if he has any of those signs , seems distressed at all then to be safe you should consider going with the ER clinic.
