Is my dog's frequent sighing normal when they're relaxed?

Is it normal for dogs to sigh a lot when they are in a relaxed state laying down?

Some dogs do seem to make sighing noises when they lay down or are resting. As long as your dog doesn't seem to be having difficulty breathing or seem uncomfortable, then I don't think him sighing is a cause for concern. If you feel it is more than normal you could possible do a video recording of the episodes and show them to your veterinarian for evaluation.
