There are too many possibilities to name that cause dogs to vomit. However vomitting that many times in a week is abnormal. I would recommend that you have Sammie see her veterinarian to make sure she is ok. Some common causes of vomitting may be dietary indiscretion (or being fed table food) that can cause gastritis or pancreatitis. Some intestinal parasites may also cause vomiting, GI foreign bodies, food sensitivities are all things to consider. Hope Sammie feels better soon.

Hello and thank you very much for your question. Vomiting 1 to 2 times a week for a puppy is abnormal and therefore you should schedule an appointment with the veterinarian as soon as possible. Some of the reasons that your puppy may be experiencing this our food allergies, congenital or hereditary disease, etc. Your veterinarian will be able to perform a full physical examination as well as diagnostic testing such as blood work, fecal analysis, x-rays, and many other tests. Thanks a lot for your question. I hope I have helped you today.
