Why is my cat meowing and spraying from stress? Does Feliway help?

Would you recommend Sentry of Feliway for a cat who excessively meows and has recently started spraying? She is completely healthy, always has food and water available, but is probably stressed out due to a recent move and added roommates. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 years and 5 months old | 10 lbs

I generally recommend Feliway as a calming pheromone collar or diffuser as a first line of defense. However, female cats rarely "spray or mark" with urine. Tia may be developing a urinary tract infection, bladder stones or crystals in the urine as a result of the stress from your recent move and new friends. Her increased vocalization could be a result of either stress or pain from a UTI. It is worth first taking a trip to the vet for an exam and urinalysis to assure that she does not have a medical issue causing her urinary issues. I hope that all goes well!
