Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 22 lbs
I Walk my dog for 4 times in a day because thats what my parents told me to do. But i just wanna ask is this correct i might worry he might get dehydrated by walking around the streets. But is walking him in the Morning, Noon, Afternoon and night. I just wanna ask. Are their bladders like humans? Pee's about every hour?

Hello As long as they are conditioned to the elements and healthy four walks as day are fine. Most dogs can go 6-8 hours between going to the bathroom but some have to go more frequently. Just watch for any signs of stress such as increasing weakness, uncontrollable panting, excessive thirst, and even collapse would you are walking your dog as those can be signs of heat stress/exhaustion

It can be very common for dogs (especially unneutered male dogs) to urinate many times over the course of a walk, both to empty their bladder and to mark territory as well. If this is a sudden change in his behavior or if there are other signs such as urinary accidents in the house or straining to urinate then I would have him evaluated by a veterinarian.
