Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 8 years and 4 months old | 9.5 lbs
So my dog has had some vomiting today and softer stool (not diarrhea) and I can tell shes dehydrated.... She is not in danger as I have seen this before.. She is a 9.5 lb Mini Dachshund though... Can I deliver fluids orally to her for now? She is eating OK..... No more diarrhea or vomiting... SHE DOES however also have a UTI as I see thick mucous coming from vagina.... This has also happened before to her.... since she is low to ground.. I am going to vet in AM but need to know if above ok

Poor Penny! It's good that you're planning to take her to the vet in the morning, as it sounds like she probably needs some medication to treat her vomiting and diarrhea, antibiotics for her UTI, and possibly IV fluids if she's dehydrated. In the meantime, you can certainly give her fluids by mouth if you're able to. You can carefully give her water with a syringe if you have one handy, as long as you're careful to go slowly and make sure that she swallows, to prevent her from choking or getting water in her lungs. You can also try offering her some low-sodium chicken or beef broth to see if this might encourage her to drink on her own.
