Hello, my dog (Lab/Dob) is getting old and starts showing signs of hip problems. taking her for walks looks painful to her. Should I keep going out with her or let her rest? she's happy for a few minutes when we leave but after a few minutes she starts limping...thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

If your dog is not already on a joint supplement and NSAID (non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) for pain I would definitely recommend talking to your vet about getting started on these as they can make a world of difference for many dogs! Other options if this is not enough include Adequan injections, tramadol, gabapentin, and amantadine.
