Is it safe for my dog to nurse kittens and my cat to nurse puppies?

My kc spaniel and my cat gave birth on the same day at nearly the same time so I put the kittens with the pups to see what happened and my cat started nursing the puppies and the kittens and my dog did the same now there sorta sharing the responsibilities they don't mind each other the puppies and kittens are now 2 weeks old should I let them carry on?

Yes, you can let them carry on with that as long as they seem to be growing normally and as long as they do not seem to have any health issues. ideally though it would have been better for the kittens to nurse on their mother and same thing with the puppies.
