My 6-month-old cat is meowing loudly. Is she in heat or pain?

My cat is 6 months old and since 3 -4 days my cat is meowing a lot.first it was slow now it's loud.what is wrong with her I am not able to understand.need urgent help.

Hello! With the information you described and Zoe's age it could indicate an early heat cycle. In that case getting her spayed would resolve the meowing. But meowing could also be a sign of pain/discomfort. A thorough exam by your veterinarian may help locate the problem and if anything more is needed
