Why does my cat bite and bunny kick my hands? Should I stop her?

She likes to grab my hand and pull it towards her and kicks at it with the back legs. She also tries to bite me but I tell her to be gentle loudly. Why does she do this? Should I allow this behavior to continue? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 months and 10 days old

This is a very common way for cats to play - so it's normal behavior, but not something that I would encourage her to do with your hands, as this type of play can often become too rough and draw blood. Instead, you can try providing her with some stuffed toys that she can grab and kick like this - many cats enjoy this, and it would give her a more appropriate outlet for this behavior.
