How soon can I switch my dog from Seresto collar to Advantage II?

Im currently using a seresto collor. When can i use switch to advantage 2 after taking the collor off? It isnt working for one of my dogs but works for my others and i need to switch her soon. She is miserable. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 3 months old | 2 lbs

The Seresto collar works by using a slow, continuous release of medication onto the skin and fur - so as soon as you remove it, the level of medication on Prada's skin will immediately start to drop. The active ingredient (imidicloprid) also has a very high margin of safety in dogs, so it should be fine to go ahead and apply Advantage the same day that you remove the collar.
