My dog recently got groomed and she got cut very short and now her vagina is very red and seems to be bothering her? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | spayed | 4 years and 1 month old

McKenna may have some irritation from the clippers used to groom her. This can be very common, especially when a dog is groomed very short. I would ensure that she is not licking her self excessively as that could make the problem worse. If the redness does not resolve on its own in a few days I would recommend taking her in to see your vet. There she can be checked to make sure there is no infection of her skin around her vagina or other problem going on.
