My dog has a toothache. Can he still chew hard treats like Milk-Bones?

If my dog has a tooth ache would he be able to chew milk bones?

Yes, it's very possible that he could still chew Milk Bones. Dogs with dental pain do usually still eat, even crunchy things like kibble or hard treats - they just chew on the other side of their mouth, or try and avoid the painful area as much as possible. So I'm afraid this doesn't rule out the possibility that Booga may have a painful tooth.

    Most dogs with dental pain do still eat - they often simply chew on the other side of their mouth, or avoid the painful area as much as they can. If you think your dog may have a problem with his tooth, I would recommend having it checked by your vet - he/she should be able to determine if something is wrong, and remove the affected tooth if needed.
