How much Zyrtec can I give my dog for allergy itching relief?

How much Zyrtec can I give my 17 pound dog per day? My vet recommended me a dosage but I stopped using it for a bit because her allergy symptoms went away. (Mild Itching/scratching) and I forgot what he told me. She was previously on 25 mg. Of Benadryl before he suggested Zyrtec would work better. The bottle I have now says it's 10 mg. Per tablet. Should i give one or two? thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 4 years and 11 months old | 17 lbs
