Any area where your puppy regularly played/lived should be cleaned. Areas of your home where the puppy wasn't present wouldn't be contaminated unless feces was tracked in on shoes or clothing (the virus is shed in fecal matter). Here is an article with detailed information on cleaning up after parvovirus infection http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=579

Yes, it is very important to clean any areas that could have potentially been contaminated with the parvovirus. This will help protect your other pets and any other pets you may have down the road. The virus is pretty easy to kill with a dilute bleach solution but you need to be thorough. Also, it is important to remember that parvo can live outside in the environment for a long time and is more difficult to kill outside. Keep this in mind if you ever bring home another unvaccinated puppy.

If your pup has parvo cleaning all the surfaces of your house that you're able to with bleach is a great idea. It is particularly important to focus on the areas where there was any vomit or diarrhea. Bleaching laundry and the bottom of shoes that came in contact with those bodily fluids is also important. Pups is not as risk of getting re-infected, but any other puppy that comes in your house or yard could contract the virus. Parvo can live in the environment for many months in areas you haven't bleached. I hope Pups is recovering well.
