Without being able to examine Payton, it's hard to say what this bump might be. It could be a cyst, a wound of some kind, a benign skin growth, or even a cancerous tumor. I would recommend taking her to the vet to have this checked when you are able to. The vet may be able to identify is based on its appearance and how it feels on palpation, or may recommend a simple test called a fine needle aspirate to find out what it is. Depending on the results, the vet can advise you on whether or not the lump needs to be removed.
