This isn't exactly a medical question but how do you think you could convince someone into getting a bird? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 1 year and 4 months old | 0.5 lbs

Ha. Well, I guess the main thing to convince someone of this (or really of anything I suppose) is to list all of the positive things about it. In a Sun Conure's case, I would use things in terms of its long lifespan, its beauty, intelligence, and general ease of care as reasons to have it as a companion. These birds are definitely known for becoming quite attached to their owners and bond to them somewhat like a dog or cat does to their people. Additionally, in terms of birds in general, these are usually pretty healthy as long as they receive appropriate diet and care. Hope this gets you your Conure!
