Please help. I went to the vet to have my puppy checked. When we got there, I told them what was happening (diarrhea, retching, and blood in stool), they took a sample of his blood didnt get much because it was difficult for them to find his vein. WBC high. RBC low. Hemoglobin low. Left him there since they said he had to be given IV. He had to be pierced more than once just to find his vein. I'm so friggin upset and worried because he became more lethargic in there. Was it the right decision?

Yes, it was the right decision, without taking him to the vet he would have zero chance to survive, now at least he stands a fighting chance. he is very young so overall i would say his chances are not very good, but you never know, with the correct treatment he might perk back up and survive this.
