My dog ate garlic steak fat. Should I worry about garlic toxicity?

My 60 pound goldendoodle ate a piece of steak fat that was cooked with garlic paste, should i be worried?

Hi, It is true that garlic and garlic products can produce harmful effects in dogs such as anemia. Although, if this was a small amount and since Nova is a large dog, it would be very strange for her to have symptoms. Monitor her and keep an eye on any signs such as lethargy, pale gums, rapid breathing, weakness, jaundice, and dark colored urine. Garlic toxicity may also cause vomiting and diarrhea. If Nova had these signs, you would want to seek veterinary attention soon. But from the information you've provided I don't think you have much cause for concern.
