Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 70 lbs
I just adopted a dog about 2 weeks ago, he's a black lab around 6-9 years old. We adopted him fully house trained, doesn't bark at anything, stops if a car walks by, etc. So he's fully trained. But he just peed a lot in the house ( 1 spot) and peed outside for a fair amount of time. Is this concern for a possible UTI or a panic situation because he's in a new home? He hasn't used the bathroom inside at all up until this point.

Cujo is such a cutie. Congrats on adopting an adult dog!! If this was a one time event, I would just monitor him. He definitely could just be getting used to his new house and routine. However, if he has any further accidents, if he starts asking to go outside to urinate more frequently, if he strains to urinate at all, or if there is any blood in his urine , I would have him evaluated by a veterinarian right away. They will do a urinalysis to screen for an infection likely and may do other tests based on results such as x-rays to look for bladder stones.
