My dog has parvo. Is pink poop from medicine or parvo itself?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My dog has parvo and was treated for it. She's home now and hasn't puked and just pooped for the first time in hours. It doesn't look like blood though. It's pink water, but looks like medicine to me. Would the treatment do that or is it typical for parvo poop to be pink?

Some antibiotics may have this color. Pinkish feces are not normal, but I would recommend to wait and see if the signs are persistent or not. If they are another check up is likely to be needed as blood could be present in it. You can post a picture of it on the forum so we can see it and give you more specific answers.
