Sorry to hear that Bailey has diarrhea. Many different things can cause diarrhea in dogs including dietary indiscretion (garbage gut), different infections, intestinal parasites, and numerous systemic diseases. If Bailey otherwise seems normal, you could try feeding her a bland diet consisting of boiled chicken and boiled rice for 24-48 hours. If the diarrhea does not improve after this, you might need to bring Bailey into the vet to determine the specific cause and how to treat it. Unfortunately, Bailey is a small breed also so make sure that she is drinking plenty of water so that she does not get dehydrated. hope the Bailey feels better soon.

Diarrhea or excessively soft stool can have many causes. It is basically a problem with the stomach and intestines caused by a food over sensitivity, eating something that does not agree with the dog, intestinal parasites, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc. I would fast Chance for 24 hours and then put her on bland food for two days, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to her regular food slowly over a few days. If this does not clear up the diarrhea or if the vomiting increases, or if she gets lethargic, she needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on.

I'm sorry to hear that Daisy has been having so much diarrhea! Possible causes of her diarrhea include a virus, parasites, stomach upset from eating different foods or treats, among others. Since she otherwise seems to be okay, you can try withholding food for 12-24 hours, then offer a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days. Feed her 7 cups of chicken and rice per day, divided into 3-4 smaller meals. I realize that the volume seems huge relative to kibble, but the food is less dense and has more water in it. After a few days, gradually mix the bland diet with her normal kibble over another 5-7 days. If Daisy's diarrhea continues or worsens, she starts vomiting, stops eating or becomes lethargic, she will need to go to her vet for further evaluation. I hope that she feels better soon!
