Why is my 2-month-old puppy skinny with skin blisters and not eating?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 13 days old

My puppy is 2 months old and has red lined with pus blisters on her tummy and hind legs. Eats but very little and looks very skinny as if she doesn't eat but I see her eat drink poop and pee. But why so skinny.My roommates do have a cat but my dog is rarely by him.

It looks like Elsa may have some allergic skin disease and a bacterial infection going on. Most GSD puppies run very thin especially at this age, so as long as she is dewormed and you are feeding her a high quality puppy food like Hills or Royal Canin then you probably have nothing to worry about. The skin infection on the belly probably needs to be seen by your vet, but you can try using a warm water epsom salt bath or compress on this area several times a day for a few days and this might clear it up without a visit to the vet.

    These are very severe in such a young puppy and he does indeed look very skinny. Please have checked as soon as possible by your vet to determine the underlying causes and if he has a fever. They may wish to burst and investigate one of the blisters.
