My puppy is hungry after not eating. What food is safe to give?

I've a small puppy, half huski half normal breed, that hasn't ate for three days.. the vet game some electrolites, and today he start to seek food and i don't know what to gave him? It is good to gave him milk? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 15 lbs

I'm glad to hear that Thunder seems hungry again! No, do not give him milk. Many dogs are lactose intolerant and milk can cause further vomiting, diarrhea and a loss of appetite. Instead, try feeding him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice (1 & 3/4 cup per day, divided into smaller meals) for several days, then gradually mix his regular puppy food in with the bland diet over another 5-7 days. If he still refuses to eat or has vomiting or diarrhea, Thunder may need to go back to the vet. I hope that Thunder is feeling better soon!
