My dog ( 1 yr old) has developed bleeding sores on her chin. She eats and drinks from stainless steel and earthware. Can you suggest a remedy for this?

Poor Raven. You did well by changing the bowls because it's believed that plastic bowls can cause an allergic reaction in some pets. Really the only way to treat this is with medication to flush the follicles and then treating the secondary bacterial infections. Topical creams or wipes that contain Benzoyl peroxide (Stridex pads) have been used with some success. And then you will need to visit your vet to get a short course of antibiotics prescribed. Your vet should also have the topical cream needed as well. I hope you get Ravens chin acne cleared up soon. Best wishes.
