Why are my dog's eyes red and bloodshot after a grooming appointment?

I took my dog to the groomers and when she came back both of the whites of Her eyes are filled with blood like very blood shot, what could have happened to her at the groomers

You should certainly discuss this with your groomer, but I have seen this injury after grooming when a noose is used to stabilize the dog on the table, and either the dog struggles or the noose is too tight, causing the whites of the eyes to become severely blood shot. If the pressure around the neck is too tight, dogs can even experience symptoms of strangulation, including fluid in the lungs.
