Pet's info: Dog | Bluetick Coonhound | Male | neutered | 63 lbs
I got my dog three days ago and most the time he's a big ol sweetheart, however when I'm away in boyfriends with him he's fine but when we're both in the room he becomes aggressive and barks and growls and tries to bite him and jumps on him is there anything we can do to help and stop doing this they understand that my boyfriend is not trying to hurt me, we feel that he is protective over myself in the house

If you recently got Ash, it may be that he isn't quite comfortable in your new home or around your boyfriend yet. Without knowing his history, there may also be a reason behind why he is wary, however patience and training can help. Have your boyfriend toss Ash a treat every time he comes over, or interacts with Ash. Let Ash approach your boyfriend, instead of being approached, to help prevent extra stress. If he does approach your boyfriend, toss another treat to him. When you are together in a bedroom or other location, keeping Ash in another room or crated may also be needed until he can safely interact. Speaking with a trainer or behaviorist in your area is also a good idea as they can see what is going on in person and offer a more tailored plan.
