Dog shaking & throwing up 4 days post-neuter: Pain or stomach upset?

Question

Is my dog in pain if he's shaking after the 4th day of getting neuter? I stopped Tramadol on the 3rd day but he's throwing up little bubbles but this didn't happen on the first day of neuter though. is his stomach just upset from 3 days of medicine? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 17 lbs

Tramadol can cause some GI upset, however if he is off the meds and still appearing in pain or ill it may indicate something else going on. You can try a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice to see if it settles his stomach. However, if he is actively vomiting, or the site of the neuter appears very red or swollen, then having him rechecked by your vet is best to rule out any problems.
