Trey has had a "growth" on his chin since birth no one can seem to figure out what it is. Anyone with any ideas would be really appreciated he is very active no pain in or around the chin eats a lot drinks regularly. I had him to the hospital for swelling and many vet visits the sample from his chin is a red liquid that's really runny but my vets not sure what it actually is... his chins gummy if you squeeze it not firm.. it swells he can't open his mouth then we give him a steroid then Its norm

Oh my. Poor pup. This appears to be a very large swelling which can be either an inflammatory response to a foreign body, cellulitis, an abscess, seroma or even neoplasia has to be considered although lower on the list because of his age. I would highly recommend having the sample fluid sent to the lab for analysis. If it comes back as serosanguinous, then there is likely a foreign body inside which would require surgical exploration if nothing can be seen poking into it from the outside. If suspicious cells are seen on the fluid analysis report, then you should still do he exploratory surgery, but with subsequent mass removal. The steroids likely caused a reduction in swelling because it is likely an inflammatory response due to a possible foreign body. I hope you get some resolve soon for Trey. Best wishes.
