Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 6 days old | 9 lbs
I have an 11 year old male yorkie and about three weeks ago we brought home a new lab/german shepherd puppy and she keeps biting our yorkie's legs, mouth, and just about anywhere she can get him. We try to distract her with a toy or block her with our body from getting to him but she does not listen and I worry that our yorkie could get hurt as the puppy gets bigger

Your worry is very valid! It is best to make sure the two are only playing together when you can directly supervise them and that puppy and your older dog are separated when you are away so that an accident can't happen - even the most well intentioned of a dog can cause an injury! If the puppy starts playing too rough, a "time out" of a few minutes for everyone to calm down can also help and teaches your puppy that too rough of play is frowned upon. Diverting with treats and toys is also a great way, so keep that up.
