Should I spay my female rat or neuter my male? I heard spaying can stop malmmory tumors in female. I only want to do one of them.

You should neuter your male rat but i do not recommend spaying your female rat. the reason for not spaying your rat is the fact that the surgery is much more risky than the surgery done form mammary gland tumors.
