Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 12 lbs
Hi I have a Labrador of 6 weeks. The vet that had given him the vaccination, gave him the wrong one and after consulting another doctor we got to know that the vaccine given was supposed to be given after 3 months . Since the vaccine , our dog has had fever, loose motions and dullness. We have shown him to a new doctor, and he has given him medicines for the fever . Is this serious?

I can't advise you really as to what is going on, since I don't know what vaccines where given to your dog. In general when a "killed" vaccine is given to the wrong animal, even if a wrong species, it doesn't seem to have much adverse effect. I am wondering if Oscar's illness is unrelated to the vaccine, or if the vaccine given was a modified-live vaccine, which can stimulate the immune system much more significantly. If Oscar is receiving supportive care for the fever and medication for the diarrhea, he should do ok.
