My kitten won't eat after I changed food too fast. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 21 days old | 8.3 lbs

My kitten ate one brand of kitten food, ate a whole pouch 4 times a day. I introduced a new brand without introducing it gradually and now he will eat neither brand. He hardly eats and takes a few bites and walks away. What do i do?

Just continue to give one diet or the other one, he will eat it in the end. Remember to give be quite consistent with it and if you want to change diet, always change it gradually.
