Hi, My cat is 11 months. Has had all the vaccinations and her spay. She has always been on wiskers biscuits and jelly and i resently changed her biscuits to gocat. Ever since i have found shes been sick and having diorrea. Do you know if this is her food and to change it back or somthing more serious?? Thank you

Hi there. Millie looks like a very cute kitten. If her symptoms started immediately after the change in diet it is likely it is from the diet change. You can try going back to her previous diet, give it a few days, and see if her symptoms improve. If you go back to her previous diet and she stops eating, becomes lethargic and/or continues having vomiting and diarrhea I would recommend to have her examined by her veterinarian. It could be the food change, generally speaking gocat is not a food i would recommend. withhold food for 8 hours then offer her boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if she is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put her back gradually on her old food. If she continues having diarrhea, take her to the vet to get treatment.
