My 6 week old pitbull puppy is having diarrhea that is projectile. The vet gave me medicine for it but I'm still worried. It's light brown and super runny. She still drinks lots of water and still eats food

Depending on the cause of the diarrhea it could take 24-48 hours for diarrhea to improve. I would recommend contacting your veterinarian when you are able to see if this is expected or if Dallas needs to be rechecked. If she begins vomiting, seems very lethargic, or if you see blood in the diarrhea you should see an emergency veterinarian right away.

It's quite normal for them to not poop for a day or two when the diarrhea gets better. This alone would not be a concern. If she was not pooping and also not eating/drinking and acting depressed/painful, then I would be more concerned and recommend an urgent visit to the vet. If she is otherwise acting normal, then I would not be concerned and recommend waiting a day or two if all else is normal. Below is a link to some helpful information about vomiting and diarrhea. https://mobile.petcoach.co/amp/article/diarrhea-vomiting-in-dogs-when-to-call-your-veterinarian I hope that helps and Pru gets better soon.
