My puppy has a skin infection. What can I do before the vet visit?

My puppy I just bought have a really bad skin infection. I'm going to take him to the vet in the morning but is there anything I can do now. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | unneutered | 10 lbs

The only things you can do in the meantime is to put an e-collar around his neck to prevent him from licking the area, you can also clean the wound with a clean wet cotton, but it will require antibiotic treatment to heal/
