What's the best way to balance homemade food for a senior dog with cancer?

HI my little dog Lucky has nasal cancer i now cook her home cooked food but im looking for something to balance it so she is getting all the nutrients and minerals she needs ; i tried to look on your balance it site to see if i could find one to add to her meal but it said it did not have one , she has to have a low carb diet no sugar or salt of vegetables with high carbs eg carrots corn peas no grains sensitive tummy she has a bit arthritis also she is 13 and half can you help please ?

I'm so sorry that Lucky is ill. I can tell you are trying to do everything in your power to help her feel well for as long as possible. BalenceIT is my usual go to for supplementing home cooked diets. However, it is usually most appropriate for young-mostly healthy dogs. Dogs such as Lucky need more assistance. I would strongly recommend talking to a veterinary behavior specialist. I know Ohio State University Veterinary School was doing over-the-phone consultations with their nutrition specialist, Dr. Parker, at one point so I would recommend starting there.
