What's this skin issue on my puppy? Is it ringworm or an infection?

I still can't tell for sure, it may be ringworm, it may be a self inflicted wound from scratching and it could also be a bacterial infection. you should take him to your vet and get it checked if it doesn't resolve itself soon.

    Hi. Poor little Sam. It appears little Sam has a pretty bad skin infection. It could be caused by a fungal infection ( such as ring worm), a bacterial infection, or skin parasites. A contact allergen is also possible. With a puppy, and the way the photo appears, my top 2 would be ring work or mites. He will need a full exam, along with a skin scrape to check for mites, a ringworm culture, and probable antibiotics. Good luck
