Bridging is when extra bone begins to form, often in response to a fracture or arthritis. She may have some instability in her hip joints that her body is trying to compensate for and stabilize, such as hip dysplasia or arthritis. I recommend calling your vet to discuss these findings and what can be done to manage the condition if necessary.
