Hi! My puppy ate a shoe cleaning sponge last night. In the morning he vomited and it contained a lot of shredded sponge pieces. He seems happy and playful and doesn't seem to feel bad. Should I be worried?

If he chewed the sponge into tiny pieces and vomited the majority of them up he hopefully will do just fine. The shoe cleaner itself can be very irritating to the stomach and certainly a large sponge could potentially get lodged in the stomach or small intestine of such a young/small pup. If there are no further episodes of vomiting over the next 2-3 days you should be in the clear. If Richie does start vomiting again or if he doesn't want to eat I would have him evaluated by your veterinarian right away.
