Why is my kitten weak and won't stand after breathing issues?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 17 days old

Today I found my outdoor kitten (around six weeks old) practically dead. Her nostrils were blocked with dried snot and she was gasping for air. I brought her in and cleaned her nose. She was doing alright but kept sleeping. Now, she won't stand up or anything. I've given her milk and chicken broth over a 4 hour period. Please help.

Hi, Please look at the color of Monkey's gums. If they are pale or white (i.e. Not pink) she may be anemic. If so, she will need veterinary attention immediately. Please take her to the nearest veterinary emergency hospital.
