Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 5 months old | 65 lbs

Hello, I have previously posted about marleys tiny lump on his head, he's had it about 4 weeks it hasn't grown itself but every now and then it swells up a Bit but goes down in half hour. It's quite a soft lump can't really feel much until it swells. Went to vets today but they didn't seem that fussed just said not to worry, but cant do anything it's to small atm but doubts it's serious due to swelling and shrinking. He's had stage 1 mct surgicaly removed before. Any advice for next step?

Good on you for having Marley seen by a vet! Given that it's too small to remove at the moment, I would monitor the lump for now. If it gets bigger and stays bigger, then I would have him seen by a vet again. At that point, it may be able to be removed. Should the lump continue to swell and shrink and you are concerned about it, it's certainly ok to have Marley seen by another vet for a second opinion. I hope this helps :-)
