Pet's info: Dog | Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 1 day old
Hi. I have a 13 week old puppy English bull terrier. He has had his first injections. When I took him for his second lot the vet noticed he had one swollen lymph node in the back of his leg and had a very slight heart murmur. What's the chances of this being cancer , as I was told it's highly unlikely because of his age ? He is otherwise fir healthy and running around everywhere

Cancer would be extremely unlikely in this age group. Swollen lymph nodes are common in puppies as their immune system is still developing and reacting to many new stimuli, continued monitoring for 3-4weeks is advised. Heart murmurs are also quite common in growing pups and most are completely innocent and require monitoring to see if they disappear
