Simparica for fleas & ticks: Is it safe with seizure side effects?

Do you recommend simparica for flea protection? Even thought it has side effects like seizures?

Hello. All tick and flea products if overdosed or if the individual animal has a sensitivity can cause seizures as the drugs typically work on the nervouse system of the insects. Check with your vet about which products in your area are safe and effective. Avoid cheap products because amounts of drug aren't regulated and we often see advrse side effects with the grocery store products (or dollar store products). Also, always give as directed and don't overdose or give a different animal meds meant for your animal or vice versa. Overall zoetis products like nexguard and bravecto are good and this looks like their new product.
