My dog has dry, split fur by her collar. What can I do to treat it?

I noticed my dog has got seriously dried hair with split ends on the back of her collar area .I massaged it with olive oil what else should I do it looks strange

I am sorry to hear about your concern for Daisy! It is probably due to her collar coming in contact with her fur all the time. If her skin doesn't appear irritated and it doesn't bother her is is likely just a cosmetic issue. You can try taking her collar off when she is indoors to give the fur a rest and you can also get a creme rinse to use after bathing her, and start her on an omega fatty acid supplement such as Welactin (or others sold in pet stores) to keep her skin well hydrated. Otherwise, I wouldn't be too concerned if it is just the fur and not her skin itself.
