When a dog has a fever, he often won't eat, and will act very lethargic. It is important to treat Bruno's liver infection, in order to get the fever down. Are you able to take him back to his vet to get further treatment? If he is unable to have antibiotics by mouth (usually need to be feeling well enough to eat to handle antibiotics by mouth), your vet could treat him with injectable antibiotics. He may need to go on IV fluids to help keep him hydrated. I really hope Bruno gets better soon. Best of luck!
